Surface Wind Forecast Guidance
This wind animation depicts forecasted hourly surface (10m above the water) winds for the next 30 hours. The hourly wind
fields were created by spatially and temporally interpolating wind forecast guidance from the National Weather Service's
operational NAM atmospheric forecast model. These hourly wind fields were used by SJROFS' hydrodynamic model to generate
oceanographic forecast guidance for the bay out to 30 hours.
